We now temporarily have a cat in the house.  One of my roommates is cat sitting for a friend of his.  It is soo adorable!  The name is Melmon and it has tan and white fur.  He follows me around a lot and seems pretty attached to me.  My roommate told me the breed of it and I did some research.  Apparently it is an ancient breed that has some "quirks" that lacked defining.  Melmon was chilling with me in my room for a while today and kept staring at me.  I asked him why he was doing so and followed that by asking him if I looked familiar.  He then came over and jumped into my lap.  After a few moments of intense purring he looked up at me, sort of.  His eyes rolled up to the back of his head and he bit me!  All of the sudden flashes of images and movement were soaring through my brain.  I saw me, but not me.  Someone that looked exactly like me but wearing different clothes and with longer hair.  Then I heard a voice.  "Kyle.  Kyle? KYLE!?"  I woke up with a start!  I was laying on the floor next to my chair and had quite a headache.  My roommate was standing at the door asking if I were alright.  I told him I was fine and that I had to write a blog.

As I awoke I did take notice of what beautiful weather this  morning  had to greet me.  A day of vigorous labor had lay ahead of me.  Whilst I walked my way to the village well a handsome tan and white cat took notice of me and pursued my course.  Approaching the well, a feminine scream tickled my ears from a distance.  I hurried to the east, sword in hand, to investigate the matter.  The fair maiden was surrounded by wolves in a nearby wheat field!  I called forth those dogs and halted their siege on the girl.  With swift steps and crafty swordsmanship I thwarted the malignant plans of the wolves by means of death!  "I thank thee, my savior!" she yelled as she ran forth and threw her arms around me in a grateful embrace.  "Tis nothing a nobleman wouldn't do my lady," I spoke.  As I accompanied her back to her dwelling I noticed the feline was still on an intense ascertainment of myself.  The rest of the day proceeded with normalcy and stability.  Until nightfall that is.  When I sat down to feast upon my dinner the cat had leaped in gracefully from the window by the door.  Firstly, he prowled about my quarters as if to hunt a prey but still at me he stared.  When I offered him a ration of food his eyes rolled to the back of his head.  Immediately I dropped what was held in my hand to attempt to aid him.  When I was close he clasped my hand in his jaw!  Images and movement I saw streaming through my mind.  I saw myself wearing strange clothing!  Only for a moment was I imagining the travesty, for, the maiden I rescued before had burst into my cabin.  She claimed to have brought me a bounty of food in thanks.  She inquired to my wellness and I stated I had but a small pain in my head.  After I finish my discourse the maiden shall tend to my needs till I sleep.

As soon as I woke up this morning the cat was in my face.  It followed me around all day long!  I'm not sure why but this cat seems to be extremely attached to me.  It seems to be quite intelligent as well.  I would say things to it and it seemed to understand me.  As I walked, it moved in-between my steps is if to have memorized my pace and movement.  Melmon is a strange cat but, he's so adorable!

From the rise of the sun till the dusk of the night, my new feline companion had followed me to whatever destination I had.  When ever I spoke to him or anyone else, he would watch me very intently, as if in attempt to interpret my speech.  He studied my walk as if I were a book of scholars.  Quite an odd cat he is but my affection he does have.

No class today!  I always feel good when there is a day of no class.  I usually get a lot done too.  I suppose it would be due to the fact I have no pressure to ensure the proper assignments are completed and such; therefore, I can concentrate on other things that I have been wanting to do.  Now that I think about it, I did not see Melmon at all today.  I wonder where he is hiding.  Oh well.  I saw on a news website that there was an alleged fireworks accident, in which many were injured but none were killed.  There were, however, suspicions of sabotage and a plan of mass murder.  I wish there would be something I could do, if this were the case, since they believe there will be more attacks.

A day off from chores and obligations is a well appreciated blessing.  Time to focus on one's personal interests is always beneficial to one's well being.  I had planned to peruse the village inquiring of the feline's owner but he was  nowhere to be found.  About midday a messenger rode into town delivering a notice of an attack to the village knights!  All knights aside from the guards pursued the course of which the messenger arrived.  Later that evening they returned stating to the elders of a malignant person who will apparently strike again!  Oh how I wish there were something I could do to help.

Work wasn't bad at all today.  I completed my tasks earlier than usual and I didn't have to do much in the barn.  Once I arrived home is when things began to be troublesome.  As soon as I opened the door to enter, Melmon ran out of the house!  I quickly sprinted after him down the street.  What was odd is that he was traveling my exact pace and kept glancing back as if to make sure I was still in pursuit.  I must have followed him for three miles before we came to a house of strange sorts.  I chased him to the interior of the house to find it completely empty of anything, including walls.  It was merely a large hollow building.  On the far side was a mirror.  Melmon meowed as if to call me over to it.  I walked over to the mirror and looked into it.  Just as I had approached, the person I remember seeing in my vision the other night had came up to the mirror.  It seemed as though I was looking at a reflection, but I couldn't have been.  The man I was looking at just wasn't me.  Or was he?

After a laborious day at the smithing shop I finally retired to my home.  Though when I arrived I saw the cat again as he darted out of my home.  I started to follow him through town.  He continued to glance back to me as if to ensure my pursuit.  As I ran to keep up he would distance himself then allow me to gain on him.  In a short manner of time he properly measured my pace and stayed a steady distance ahead of myself.  We arrived at a large hut and he entered.  Wearily, I entered the domicile to find it was nearly empty, save for a mirror.  While I approached the mirror the man from my mysterious vision came upon the side of the reflection.  Who is this person?

Melmon glanced at a chair as if to beckon me to sit in it.  As I did I watched the man in the mirror do the same thing in his chair.  Melmon pawed at the mirror and it rippled like water!  I leaned in to touch it and as soon as I did it started to envelop me!  It was ice cold and paralyzing.  I shot back into the chair as it reached my shoulder but I could get my finger off of the mirror.  The silvery shiny liquid covered my entire body and was finally about to take my head!  Either from the intense cold or the intense shock I passed out.

The cat glanced at a chair as if to beckon me to sit in it.  As I did the man in the mysterious mirror did so as well.  The cat ran out of the hut and left me with the mirror and the man.  He leaned towards the mirror as if to touch it.  Curious as to why, I did the same.  The glass was ice cold and an agglutinative liquid.  It started to envelop my hand!  Once it enshrouded my hand I felt a pull.  I was being sucked into the mirror!  I pulled with all my might to escape but to no avail.  "This is it," I thought, "I am to meet my maker."  Nothingness consumed me.
